Wetted Wall Columns
ANTICO WettedWall™ is designed for precise gas–liquid mass transfer studies and small-scale absorption operations using a well-defined liquid film on the inner wall of a vertical tube.
The working principle involves liquid flowing down the inner surface of a smooth vertical tube as a uniform film while gas flows either counter-currently upward or co-currently downward, providing a well-characterised and controlled gas–liquid interface. The system includes a precision vertical column, liquid feed and overflow arrangement, gas inlet and outlet, and temperature control jacket. It is primarily used as a research and measurement tool for determining fundamental mass transfer coefficients, diffusivities, and reaction kinetics. The simple and precise geometry allows accurate calculation of the interfacial area. It is also used in small-scale industrial absorption where a defined gas–liquid contact area is required. ANTICO WettedWall™ provides a clean, laminar flow interface ideal for scientific measurement and low-capacity absorption applications.

FAQ
What capacity range is available for Wetted Wall Columns?
We offer project-specific sizing from laboratory benchtop scale through pilot and production volumes. Contact our engineers with your batch size and process requirements for a tailored recommendation.
Can this unit be integrated with existing plant automation?
Yes. All systems support standard instrumentation signals and can interface with DCS, PLC, or standalone controllers. Custom I/O and recipe control packages are available.
What material options are available?
Borosilicate glass, glass-lined steel, stainless steel, and specialty alloys including Hastelloy can be specified based on your process chemistry, temperature, and pressure requirements.
Do you provide installation and commissioning?
Global Lindus provides on-site installation supervision, commissioning, operator training, and optional IQ/OQ documentation for regulated industries.
What is the typical delivery lead time?
Standard configurations ship in 4–8 weeks. Custom skid assemblies and large production units may require 12–16 weeks depending on scope and material availability.
